The Cribs & Johnny Marr Tour The UK!

The Cribs have announced a short run of UK gigs, due to take place in December.

The band, Ryan, Ross and Gary Jarman alongside one Johnny Marr, will play:

Birmingham O2 Academy (December 2)
London O2 Brixton Academy (3)
Doncaster Dome (5)
Edinburgh Corn Exchange (6)

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday (July 17).

The band's fourth album, Ignore The Ignorant, is set for release on September 7.

Gallows will blaze a trail across the UK at the end of 2009 with a 16 date trek up and down the country.

Pearl Jam are to play a show at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire on August 11.

The intimate gig will precede the release of the band's new album Backspacer (out September 21). The first batch of tickets will be available to all those who pre-order the record from HMV.com between July 21 and 22. All other tickets will go on sale to the general public on July 23.
