Oasis pulled out of their headline slot at the V Festival last night after Liam Gallagher was diagnosed with viral laryngitis.
A statement from the band said: "After a year of being on the road this is the first performance to be lost to a band member's illness, so naturally we are all gutted."
The news came just hours after Noel Gallagher's latest blog post.
"Don't feel too clever," he wrote after the band's Saturday night gig at the Stafford leg of the V Festival. "Outrageous stomach ache. Feel like I'm coming down with summat.
"Might have to get the doctor out in the morning. Hope it came out of the speakers ok. Gutted. Oh well, there's always tomorrow."
This surprise cancellation arrives at the end of the band's Dig Out Your Soul world tour. The brothers' squabbling continues unabated.
Liam is expected to be fit for the band's Paris gig on Friday.

Larry Knechtel, the Grammy award-winning keyboardist who played with the likes of Ray Charles, The Beach Boys and Elvis Presley, has died at the age of 69.
Born in Bell, California in 1940, Knechtel began playing piano for Duane Eddy's band The Rebels before going on to record with The Wrecking Crew - the group of session hotshots that put their instrumental genius to use on many of Phil Spector's hits. Work with a host of west coast legends (including The Doors, The Mamas And Papas and Randy Newman) followed. In 1970 Knechtel joined Simon & Garfunkel for the recording of Bridge Over Troubled Water. He soon joined Bread for their string of early '70s albums.
In later years, he entered the studio with likes of Rick Rubin, Neil Diamond and the Dixie Chicks.
