Achtung! Kraftwerk Kompetition!

CELEBRATING THE COVER STORY in the latest MOJO magazine, we're giving away five 8-strong batches of the current Kraftwerk remasters.

Beautifully buffed up under mainman Ralf Hütter's aegis, the albums - from 1974's Autobahn to 2003's Tour De France Soundtracks - are the records that redefined modern pop music, inspiring generations of pop experimentalists from Bowie and Eno in the '70s, through The Human League and the '80s synth-pop hordes, and which, via the Kraftwerk-obsessed house and techno avatars of Detroit and Chicago, laid the foundation for the '90s dance explosion and the catholic world of "electronica" we enjoy today.

To understand just why Kraftwerk are so lauded, or to replace your scratchy vinyl/underpowered CD versions of their landmark recordings, just answer the following question...

What is the English meaning of the word "Kraftwerk"?

a) Power Plant
b) Ship Building
c) Cheese Sculpture

Answers to Editor@MOJO4music.com by October 19. Please include, name, contact details and postal address.

The remasters are available for sale separately, on CD or via download, from October 12. Vinyl and The Catalogue box set available from November 16.
