Bob Dylan's Christmas In The Heart is now being previewed online.
The album, Dylan's first major festive offering, is set for release on October 13 and features covers of such Yuletide classics as Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas and Winter Wonderland alongside a clutch of traditional carols - Hark The Herald Angels Sing, O' Come All Ye Faithful and O' Little Town Of Bethlehem among them.
All US royalties from sales of the album will go to charity Feeding America. All other proceeds from the record will be donated to hunger relief organisations around the globe.
Dylan has said: "It's a tragedy that more than 35 million people in this country alone - 12 million of those children - often go to bed hungry and wake up each morning unsure of where their next meal is coming from. I join the good people of Feeding America in the hope that our efforts can bring some food security to people in need during this holiday season."

All Christmas songs are 'dogs' nd all Christmas albums are 'dogs'. Sentimental mush, the lot of 'em. But this is Bob (68 and still on the road). So allow the man his foibles - buy the album for the good causes. And finally, Merry Christmas to one and all
