Brian Jones, the Rolling Stones' troubled guitarist, was only 27 when he was found dead in his swimming pool on July 3, 1969. An inquest conducted at the time recorded a verdict of death by misadventure, but now Sussex police have re-opened the case after new information was unearthed.
A spokesman for Sussex police said: "These papers will be examined by Sussex Police, but it is too early to comment at this time as to what the outcome will be."
Speculation that Jones was murdered by one of his Cotchford Farm associates has been rife for decades.

The Horrors are likely to appear on the new Gorillaz album after Damon Albarn recently invited the band to work on a new song at his London studio.
Speaking to BBC 6 Music, Horrors bassist Rhys Webb revealed that Albarn had emailed the group after hearing their second album Primary Colours earlier this year.
"It was kind of a strange email saying, 'Would you guys be able to come down to my studio at some point?'," said Webb. "We had no idea really what it was about but thought that would be great to go down there, have a chat, it would be nice to meet him.
"We went down to the studio and he said, 'We're working on the new album and we've not collaborated with a guitar band before and your album is one of the most exciting things I've heard in a long time. Would you be up for working on a track?'.
The new Gorillaz album is scheduled to appear in 2010.

Soundgarden was usless 1991-97/2010. Down hill without the original members. Ben Shepherd had a nasty reputation with putting his boot on the fans.. He should of shown more respect towards the fans...

Checkout the great Jason Everman on Soundgarden V.H.S Loudest_Love Tour 1989-1990. He Plays Bass like a skateboard punk... (He looks very cool too!!!)In the summer of 1989 Jason also toured across America with Nirvana/Sonic Youth.
Dive/School was par excellence!!!

Yeah- I did like Soundgarden in the early days!!! Live in Texas/Chicago/New York with Jason Everman on bass had more style, more beef, more swagger and real Beergarden. Hiro Yamamoto/Jason Everman were the last of the great punks!!! I did not like Soundgardens new albums 1991-1997. The post punk and stage presence was gone...

Always did prefer Soundgarden with Yamamoto/Everman. Mark Arm should give Jason A phonecall. (Mudhoney-Mudhoney featuring Jason Everman the come-back kid). New LP entitled "Undignified" w - two new singles: "Brush Your Teeth"/ "Support the police". This classic subpop LP/Single would be the greatest comeback since Jason & the Scorchers or The Johnnies...

The Soundgarden/Nudedragons reunion 2010 was a bit of a disaster!!! It was very disrespectful not to invite the genius Hiro Yamamoto on stage as a special guest considering that Soundgarden for some strange reason are still using the old "Classic" photos to promote something that nobody liked!!! Ben Shepherd was the reason that Soundgarden broke up in 1997.

There would of been no Nirvana if Jason Everman did not pay for the "Classic" Bleach LP 1989(original). Recorded and packaged for 606 Dollars U.S. Jason Also toured with Nirvana as a second guitarist for 6- months. Before joining the once great Soundgarden playing the bass guitar.(1989_90). The "very cool dude" Jason Everman had huge confidence and musical skills that impressed us all. He worked extremely hard for Nirvana/Soundgarden 1989-90.
His "strict" rule of hardcore metal/punk & the vandalism of a dozen guitars on stage probably got him in trouble with the other band members. ( He was also able to make all the girls in his bedroom laugh!! )
He was easy but not cheap!!!

These (New ) early recordings by Stonecrow featuring Jason everman on guitar & Chad Chad Channing on drums before Nirvana reminded me of classic Metallica/Megadeth 1983-88. Royalties are usually paid to the musicians after the shareholders/producers have been paid. Since Jason "Cool kid" Everman financed the entire Nirvana Bleach LP 1989 he got a bigger pay packet. It is common knowledge that Nirvanas Bleach is now more fashionable than Nevermind in 2011.
He was also the SUBPOP poster boy for Bleach on the first 30,000 copies in UK & Australia.

This epic War tour in 1983 from the once great early U2 was bordering on, thrash metal/post-punk/Hardrock. Jason Everman had a close friendship with Chad Channing they started in a band together in 1985 in a band called Stonecrow sounds like Malfunkion a great Subpop Seattle band in the early nineties. They then joined up again in Nirvana "Early Bleach" Days...

Hiro Yamamoto (Bass Number 1)left Soundgarden to go back to college. He then Joined TRULY with Mark Pickering from the Screamming trees. (Seattle Band).Jason Everman (Bassman 2) filled the Soundgarden duties (tour/promos/EP/VHS/MTV)& Singles for a year 1989-90. Ben Shepherd (Bassman 3) did not really play "live" until 1991 on the dissapointing Badmotorfinger...

Jason Everman was deeply impressed with the efforts of NIRVANA'S BLEACH L.P (ORIGINAL) 1989./TOUR/PROMOS and worked fucking hard!!! The problem was that both Jason Everman & Chad Channing did not fit the more polished/ Less Thrash/punk/metal/grunge that Nirvana and the big major corperations were looking for... i.e Nevermind/In Utero.
True Grunge had sold its soul!!!! And shot itself in the Foot...

911 - Remembered: Ten Years Later...
I won't be fooled again!!!
Tony Blairs Iraq "bristling" with Weapons of Mass Destruction - active in 45 minutes & his dodgy dossiers.
Who benefited the most with this muddle on Terrorism???(2000-2011.) The U.K & US were economically "bankrupt" before 911 and needed an excuse to go to war...The New Euro and the currency wars had just began... The UK & US had also lost control of the middle East petrol/gas pipelines.
it was not the fault of the Arabs or Palestinians that the "Bloody Thieves" in London & Washington did not know how to count:
Blair/Bush/Cheney should all be eating porridge at the Hague International Court. We now know that Iraq had no W.M.D or connections with 911.

The Legendary thrash Metal dude- JASON EVERMAN was responsible for the great early Nirvana because he financed it all: ( Kurdt Kobain/Chad Channing/Jason Everman/Dale Grover/Krist Novaselic ) and in 2011 - Jason Everman has still got the reciept...He is studying at Columbia University
the ex Nirvana/Soundgarden dude Jason Everman was with Nirvana on Tour & recording a couple of singles "DIVE" being the best!!! for 6--months(1989) He was then the bass player with Soundgarden for 1-year (1989-90) Complete LOUDER THAN LOVE TOUR/PROMOS & E.P/SINGLES:

jason everman? you people can't be serious. he was a coathanger in both bands who demotivated them, and was booted. that's my barometer.

SEPULTURA - CHAOS AD w Max Cavalera / Igor Cavalera:
Ah -These "thrash metal"boys from Brazil are loved and respected from everywhere!!! They knew how to mix "noise & melody" They also knew how to hold their "beerglass" with pride & dignity. Those Legendary Sepultura "Live" concerts were awesome!!! After all those years i am still "scratching my Head".

FAITH NO MORE - EPIC / Angel Dust L.P... LEGENDS:
"Caffeine" "Midlife-crisis" "Epic" "A Small Victory" (YOUTUBE)
This was the last of the great hard rock / thrash metal bands that had the feel of the eighties. Big "Ugly" Jim Martin was mean& awesome on guitar... ( there is something special about a band that is fresh, raw, & under pressure!!!) The Keyboards & "Slap" Bass guitar & Drums / powerful/haunting voice of Chuck Mosely/ Mike Patton reminded me of that legendary band playing in Luc Bessons cult: "Subway Film" in 1985.
Good Work!!!

METALLICA - MASTER OF PUPPETS TOUR 1989:
LIVE IN SEATTLE 1989: (YOUTUBE)
Only these "god-fathers" of thrash metal /hardrock could "swish" down a "Yard Glass Of Beer" and still play a solid stadium & do it properly. ( I really do like those smaller & more intense venues though for a Legendary Metallica concert.)
No Need to "Hang Up your Belts" The Anger & the Bitterness is still there!!!
Those early days with Dave Mustaine was "stuff" of Legends...

POWER OF DREAMS - IMIGRANTS, IMMIGRANTS, AND,ME L.P 1990 (MASTERPIECE)
"The Jokes On Me"
"Talk"
"Much to Much"
"Had You Listened"
"Stay"
"Never Told You"
"Bring You down"
"Never been to Texas"
"Where is the Love"
"Maire, I dont Love You"
"100 Ways To Kill A Love"
"Mothers Eyes"
"Average Day"
NOTES
I really do like this album with its fine cover too!!! Famous for their "biff" with U2 after telling them to "fuck off" It was alleged that U2 tried to "rip off" Dinosaur Jr & treat our Power Of Dreams as their "cup of tea" boys.( U2 are a bit of a joke these days - the "once" postpunk/hardrock legends did not know when to stop) Might explain why this fine POWER OF DREAMS L.P 1990 Masterpiece was scratched of the list for the past 20 years.
POWER OF DREAMS look more solid & disciplined on/off stage in 2012. My personal favourates are "Stay" "Had You Listened" "100- Ways to kill a Love" but they do need to turn up the post- punk level for those live concerts an extra notch though. This studio Album POWER OF DREAMS -IMIGRANTS, IMMIGRANTS ,AND,ME L.P/CD 1990 is a masterpiece in 2012
