The trailer for Sam Taylor-Wood's Nowhere Boy, the forthcoming biopic of John Lennon's early life, has debuted online.
Directed by STW, the movie chronicles Lennon's childhood in Liverpool during the 1950s. The film has been written by Control screenwriter Matt Greenhalgh and stars Aaron Johnson as the young John, Kristen Scott Thomas as Aunt Mimi, Anne-Marie Duff as his mother Julia and David Morrissey as her lover Bobby Dykins.
Nowhere Boy is set to close the 2009 Times BFI London Film Festival tomorrow night. The film is due for release in the UK on December 26.
We're really looking forward to this one. Check out the trailer below:

RE: Paulo San
Remember, obvious troll is obvious.
This movie looks a bit silly to me, however I'd gladly be proven wrong - there is a lot of material in the Lennon/Beatles story to make for a really good film.
Guess we'll just have to wait and see...
