50 YEARS AGO, in a basement at 39 Gerrard Street in London's Soho district, a jazz institution was born. Since transplanted to its current berth at 47 Frith Street and having outlived the Brit sax legend whose name it bears, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club still hosts the cream of international jazz, blues and rock - Wynton Marsalis, Van Morrison, The Bad Plus, Pharoah Sanders, Chick Corea and Jeff Beck having recently trodden its boards.
Marking its birthday, Ronnie Scott's is offering Mojo4music.com readers the chance to win a 12-month membership package, including a copy of A Day In The Life, an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Ronnie Scott's.
So to be in with a chance of winning this fantastic prize simply tell us which band Jimi Hendrix played with on stage at Ronnie Scott's during his last public performance...
a) Eric Burdon & War
b) Zoot Money's Big Roll Band
c) Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich
