VIDEO: Paul McCartney Live In New York!

12:37 PM GMT 10/12/2009

Paul McCartney's new live DVD, Good Evening New York City - a document of his three-night stand at NYC's Citi Field stadium in July - is set for release on Monday (December 14).

The brand new Citi Field Stadium is built on the site of the legendary Shea Stadium - the venue for some of the Beatles' biggest shows ever.

"It was three great nights for the band and for me personally it was very exciting to be back opening a new stadium on the site of the old Shea Stadium where we had played 44 years previously, " said Macca. "Even more exciting because this time round you could hear us!"

This package will be available in two formats: a 3-disc (2 CD + 1 DVD) standard edition and a 4-disc (2 CD + 2 DVD) deluxe version. A vinyl edition is also set to appear. The 33-song 2 hour 40 minute performances were shot in High Definition using 15 cameras and digital footage incorporated from 75 Flipcams handed out to fans over the course of the three-night residency.

Check out five songs from the show below. PLUS! Compare the Beatles' 1965 performance of I'm Down with McCartney's 2009 version!
