Now in its 23rd year, the South-By-Southwest music festival has become the ultimate annual celebration of great new music. For one week every Spring, artists, industry bods and fans from across the globe descend on Austin, Texas for a round the clock bonanza of sound.
MOJO will once again be hosting a series of shows towards the end of this week, kicking off on Thursday (March 18) at the Austin Convention Centre with an evening of British folk debate, hosted by MOJO's Will Hodgkinson. Expect talk from some of folk music's finest including Judy Collins, Jim Moray, The Unthanks and Trembling Bells.

This will be followed by Looking For A New England - an evening of live music in association with fRoots, the Arts Council and British Underground featuring the cream of British folk acts including Gadarene, Olivia Chaney, Jackie Oates, Jim Moray, Trembling Bells and The Unthanks.
Then on Saturday (March 20) the now legendary MOJO Bootleg BBQ (the best bands! free beer! tasty ribs!) will kick off at the Mean Eyed Cat. Expect a packed afternoon and evening of music delivered by the likes of Pete Molinari, Dengue Fever, Villagers, The Jim Jones Revue, Caitlin Rose, Gemma Ray, Zun Zun Egui and Ólöf Arnalds.
Make sure you stay tuned to MOJO4music over the course of the week for daily updates and exclusive photos from the SXSW frontline!
