No matter what Jeff Tweedy says, he was brilliant from the very beginning.
I was still climbing trees, skipping stones, and scabbing up my knees when Wilco released their debut album in 1995, but I wasn't too young to swallow its dose of magical moonshine genius. After the break-up of Jay Farrar and Jeff Tweedy's Uncle Tupelo the previous year, Tweedy stole the scrappier side of the partnership and gave us A.M., which emerged as a blithe combo of loose, Stonesy rocking and bona fide back-porch balladry. It was a time when the ghost of Gram Parsons and influence of an aging Merle Haggard presided over the rise of the rhythm, rock, and country blend we now call Americana. And though Wilco's sound has become more experimental and labyrinthine, A.M. retains a kind of cracker-barrel perfection that can't be touched. There's the raw, foot-stomping rock of Casino Queen -- a track punctuated by Max Johnston's fiddle and the raucous shouts of recording hoopla. That's Not The Issue is a banjo hoedown worthy of a Western bandit chase, and then there are those heartfelt lyrics of loss and love that remind you of Tweedy's honest-to-goodness poeticism. Box Full Of Letters' "I just can't find the time to write my mind the way I want it to read" remains one of the best darn excuses a man could use on a woman, and a DUI licence suspension was never confessed so poignantly as on Passenger Side ("Should've been the driver, could've been the one, I should've been your lover..."). Wilco and I have been through a lot in the last 15 years (although only Wilco made a film about it) but A.M. is a reminder that there is something beautiful about beginnings.

Wilco is just a consistently good band. They do not make bad albums; just some are better than others. On A.M. the traces of future albums are evident. Alt County meets late 60s-early 70s Stones at its finest.

Tout c3a7a, c'est bien mignon, OpenJabNab est lc3a0, cool, les Nabaztag ne sont pas morts ok, donc, lc3a0, je vais sur le site de oanbjpenab je clique sur installer oanbjpenab et lc3a0 on me dc3a9crit le prc3a9recquis :Les prc3a9-requis- Serveur apache (avec le mod rewrite) + php- Qt en version 4.3 minimum (avec les librairies de dc3a9veloppement)- un nabaztag/tag (ou plusieurs) Bhc3a9 moi, je ne comprend pas la premic3a8re ligne j'imagine que Qt c'est la contraction de Quicktime (?) Bref, OpenJabNab ressemble plus c3a0 un truc de geek/nerd de l'informatique moi je lc3a2che l'affaire (J'ai 25 ans, l'informatique est mon outil de travail : imaginez Mme Michu et le Nabaztag de son fils elle va monter son serveur OpenJabNab chez elle vous croyez ?) soyez sc3a9rieux SVP on a achetc3a9 un lapin sur la base des services proposc3a9s par la machine par juste comme objet design : assumez pliz.C'est complc3a8tement adhc3a9rant de vouloir nous faire avaler que vous, les pros, vous n'ayiez pas rc3a9ussi c3a0 faire marcher le bazard et qu'une bande de bc3a9nc3a9voles y parviendra mieux que vous, sans moyens, sans serveurs, sans licence logiciel TTS, etc ne vous moquez pas de nous !Facile de nous prendre notre fric pour l'injecter dans le Karotz pour nous jeter c3a0 la poubelle 6 mois plus tard, au prc3a9texte d'un redressement judiciaire.Chez moi, la mayonnaise ne prend pas par contre, la moutarde commence c3a0 me monter au nez !
