Win Tickets To MOJO Honours Shows!

EACH ARTIST HAND-PICKED by MOJO staff to reflect our enthusiasms, each show a mini-taste of the forthcoming funfest that is the annual MOJO Honours List: MOJO's June residency at London's Jazz Café presents unmissable opportunities to witness stellar talents in an intimate environment.

First there's Roy Harper, recently reintroduced to younger audiences via his Joanna Newsom supports, but needing no introduction to MOJO stalwarts thanks to groundbreaking folk and rock work on his 1971 Stormcock album, his Pink Floyd collaboration, Have a Cigar, his '80s collision with Jimmy Page, Harper/Jugular and plenty besides. Then twang-powered nu-crooner Richard Hawley takes the stage, fresh from the tour de force that is arguably his best album, 2009's Truelove's Gutter. John Grant, formerly of The Czars, is a more recent MOJO adoptee, but the Jazz Café environment is made for the intimate disclosures of his brilliant solo debut, Queen Of Denmark. Finally, the queen of everywhere else, the marvellous Marc Almond, brings the safety curtain down with his dramatic torch pop aesthetic.

Obviously, you'd be better off buying tickets to these intimate affairs, if only to avoid disappointment.

But you could win a pair to your chosen gig by answering the following question correctly... Don't forget to designate your preferred show.

The MOJO Honours List was instigated in 2004. In that year, who won the Lifetime Achievement Award?

a) James Taylor
b) James Brown
c) James
