The Jim Jones Revue, London's premier punk-R&B rebels, will release High Horse - the first single from their forthcoming second album Burning Your House Down - on August 23.
High Horse will be available as a 7" vinyl and via download. The 7" is set to include bonus track Bag O' Demons. Burning Your House Down will be released on September 6.
The video for High Horse was shot in London by director Geraldine Geraghty and was inspired by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger's 1948 movie classic The Red Shoes.

Bestival, Isle of Wight (September 11)

What a band! What an absolutely sodding great band. Just heard this on 6Music. It sounds like Jerry Lee Lewis jamming with the Devil himself!
Thanx to Mojo for championing these guys, so much better than the endless parade of whimpy singer/songwriters and turgid old bands you usually go for.
I'm getting this on 7" vinyl (the best format for singles).
Really excellent stuff. Hope there's a good feature on them in next months issue...

Great stuff. Not quite as good as The Princess and The Frog, but then what is?!
