(Punk Rock Blues records, 2010)
Deranged rock with lots of roll, produced by Bad Seed and Grinderman's Jim Sclavunos.
Their 2008 self-titled first was recorded live in 48 hours in Camden with Jim Jones and his Revue yelping their way through distorted in-the-red songs indebted to Little Richard, The Sonics and Bunker Hill. Their second, which took just a little longer to record, is stoked heavily with Stooges wildfire, but is, thank the heavens, really just more of the adrenalin-fuelled same. A different version of the explosive title track may have turned up first on Here To Save Your Soul, their stop gap A and B sides collection from last year, but its psychopathic raging - "I'm burning your house down, to let you know I'm still around," Jones hollers as the band clatter around him - epitomises the ear-shattering cacophony on offer here.
