He debuted on vinyl in 1966, has been saluted by the likes of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Kate Bush, and celebrated his seventieth with a star-studded show at the RFH last November. But in a discography of more then 20 original LPs plus live sets and comps, what are the incomparable Roy Harper's best records? Stormcock's going to be up there, true, but what about the rest? Which of the earliest albums? What of 1975's HQ, with When An Old Cricketer Leaves The Crease, or 1977's Bullinamingvase, which boasts One Of Those Days In England? And how about 2000's The Green Man, the last Harper album of all-new material? And is anyone feeling 1988's Loony On The Bus?
Tell us, please. As ever the best comments will appear in the magazine. Grazzi!
