New Order will undertake a UK tour this spring, playing the Manchester Apollo on April 26 and 27 before moving onto the Birmingham Ballroom (April 29), the Brixton Academy (May 2 and 3) and the Glasgow Academy (May 5).
To coincide, we're giving away two copies of the New Order Live at The London Troxy CD - both signed! The disc captures the group's December 10 2011 show - their first British date since October 2006, which MOJO called "euphoric" in our review in issue 219. Included are storming versions of Temptation, 5 8 6 off Power, Corruption And Lies and Joy Division's signature Love Will Tear Us Apart.
The CD is signed by Bernard Sumner, Gillian Gilbert and Stephen Morris plus newer guys Phil Cunningham and Tom Chapman, who's playing bass in the absence of Peter Hook. "It's not just me, Gillian and Steve," comments Bernard. "We're the ones that've been around the longest, but the group is comprised of Tom and Phil as well. People tend to ignore them, which is wrong!"
To be in with a chance of winning one of the signed CDs, please submit the correct answer to the following question along with your contact details:
Which cartoon catchphrase didn't make the final cut on a 1985 New Order 12"?
