Electrospective, a vast new campaign from EMI, is set to chronicle the last 50 years of electronic music with a raft of reissued albums, exclusive video content and live events planned for the rest of 2012.

Electrospective.com is now live and features a timeline stretching from 1958 to the present day. Each year is represented by a key record release but will be expanded over the coming months to provide a definitive view of electronic music in all its many guises. So, if you feel like checking out tracks from the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, Can, Kraftwerk, The Human League, Beastie Boys, Chemical Brothers and more, then head over to the site here.

Alongside the site, an Electrospective compilation, a Spotify app, a special roundtable discussion in London and a host of competitions will also appear over the course of the coming months.
