In '77, the mere sight of their Roger Dean-designed 'bubble' logo on a t-shirt would have been enough to send the punk year zero-ists into pogo'ing apoplexy. But progressive rock pioneers Yes have endured, bar the odd hiatus and line up change, and continue to record and tour. 43 years after their self-titled first album, we ask - what are their best LPs? Which is the pick of their first flowering - Fragile? Close To the Edge? Or the punk-baiting Tales From Topographic Oceans? How about 1983's smash 90125? Any comps? And is anyone digging the technotastic Yes Remixes LP from '03?
Please let us have your recommendations, and as ever, the best comments will appear in the next issue of MOJO. Thanks!
