David Bowie will release his first album in 10 years in March. A new single, Where Are They Now?, was posted online this morning and can be heard here.
The Next Day, his 30th studio LP and his first since 2003's Reality, features some tantalising artwork that reconfigures his classic 1977 album, "Heroes". Could this new record be a follow-up? Where Are They Now? is certainly full of the frosty beauty that characterises many of the songs on his trio of Berlin albums (Station To Station, Low, "Heroes") and the video is another stark reminder of his tenure in the city.
All this news arrives on Bowie's 66th birthday. It's great to have him back.
Listen to Where Are They Now? here and let us know what you think of the track below.
