Big Man, R.I.P. |
|
| Last weekend, the world sadly bade farewell to Clarence Clemons. The E Street Band's soulful, stoical sax player made an indelible mark on some of the Boss's greatest songs (Born To Run, Thunder Road, Badlands and Jungleland among them). We look back at his life in music here. Elsewhere this week, we announced this year's run of Glenfiddich MOJO Honours List gigs. The Horrors, The Jim Jones Revue and John Grant will all grace the stage at London's 100 Club next month. Get your tickets by following the links below. We'll be back next week with a new issue of the magazine featuring an exclusive interview with one of the greatest songwriters, singers, bassists and, er... synth-prodders of all time. See you then. | |

How To Blow Your Mind
"It's easy to organize a FREAK-OUT PARTY, all you have to do is relax your mind and let things happen. Digging wild psychedelic colors, swinging with way-out sounds, grooving on yourself, grooving on everything at once." And there's more... |
