AN EXCLUSIVE SET by space rock legends Hawkwind on the evening of May 4 will kick off this year's MOJO Honours List celebrations.

The event, hosted by the Honours List's perennial retail partner, HMV, at their flagship London store at 150 Oxford Street, will coincide with the announcement of nominations for this year's votable awards: Best Album, Song Of The Year, Breakthrough Act, Live Act and Best Compilation. That's presuming, of course, that you've got your finger out and actually voted.

The event takes place over two sessions - a lunchtime bash (acts tba), and the evening bill topped by Hawkwind. Both are completely free. Keep coming back to mojo4music.com for details of the full line-ups.

In addition to this in-store extravaganza, a series of live shows will also be announced around the MOJO Honours List 2010. Last year saw shows by Dinosaur Jr, Manic Street Preachers, Bert Jansch, The Fall, Buzzcocks and John Cooper Clarke.
