SOUTH LONDON ELECTRONIC TRIO Metamono's recent double-vinyl/no-CD debut With The Compliments Of Nuclear Physics was balm to all those who like hearing the labour-intensive sound of ARPs, Stylophones, tape splicing and other perspiration-provoking techniques employed in pursuit of authentic electronic mystique. Lifted from it, Linger Langour shows their less obscurantist side, being a comparatively serene piece of dubular borderline-skanking, ideal for middle-distance staring, and is that a soupçon of Manuel Göttsching's brain-defocusing E2-E4 in there somewhere?

The Crystal Palace-based outfit – AKA Jono Podmore, Paul Conboy and Mark Hill – will be providing a live soundtrack to specially-selected silent movies at the Bradford International Film Festival on April 5. They also promise to get some more cassettes available to buy on their website. The fightback continues!
