White Denim Star On MOJO’s Led Zeppelin Vinyl Edition

WITH LED ZEPPELIN’s Physical Graffiti returning to the Top Ten of the UK Album charts tonight (1 March) thanks to its 40th Anniversary reissues, the latest MOJO (April 2015 / #257) celebrates with an extraordinary bespoke cover version of the entire album. MOJO’s Led Zeppelin Limited Vinyl Edition, including Physical Graffiti Redrawn on double-vinyl.

Physical Graffiti Redrawn comes as a covermount CD with issues of April’s MOJO, while a special Vinyl Edition – limited to 5000 copies – can be pre-ordered right now while stocks last. The issue boasts an exclusive cover story interview with Jimmy Page, looking back at the band, the record and its creation.

Among the covers on the album – the full tracklist is below – is White Denim’s cracking take on opening track Custard Pie, which you can listen to exclusively below.

The Texan quartet have added added a signature crunchy groove to the track which they attack at searing pace, showing the way for the likes of Laura Marling, Hiss Golden Messenger, Songhoy Blues and more to present their unique takes on Led Zep’s landmark album.
