Elton John has announced the return of his award-winning Elton John Farewell Yellow Brick Road: The Final Tour, which will now visit 30 stadiums across the UK, Europe and North America in 2022.

The final leg of the tour will commence on May 27, 2022 in Frankfurt, with John visiting various European cities before coming to the UK in June, where fans will be able to see him play in Norwich, Liverpool, Bristol and Swansea. John will then visit North America in July, performing in major cities and concluding with two nights at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium. Then, in 2023, John will perform shows in Auckland and soon to be announced dates in Australia before the four-year tour concludes.

The Elton John Farewell Yellow Brick Road: The Final Tour began with a sold-out show in Pennsylvania on 8th September 2018 and has received many accolades and recognition around the world. The critically acclaimed show follows Elton John’s journey across his 5 decade-spanning career featuring previously unseen photos and videos as the back-drop to some of his most beloved songs, including Rocket Man and Tiny Dancer.

Announcing the final dates of his tour, Elton John said, “I’m coming to you today with an announcement I’ve been working towards for, well, all my life: the shows that I announce today will be my final tour dates ever in North America and Europe. I’m going to go out in the biggest possible way, performing at my very best, with the most spectacular production I’ve ever had, playing in places that have meant so much to me throughout my career. I can’t wait to see you all on the road one last time. This has been an incredible tour so far, full of the most amazing highs, and I look forward to making more wonderful memories with you at these final shows. To all my friends down under, We’ll be seeing you too. Thank you and I look forward to seeing you in your town.”
