THE NEXT MOJO How To Buy pages will address the mighty output of Dolly Parton. Her Sunday afternoon show at this year’s Glastonbury was said to have attracted the august festival’s biggest-ever crowd – proof if any were needed of the unique and enduring appeal of this country superstar who has written over 3000 songs, including such crossover hits as Jolene, 9 To 5 and Islands In The Stream.

But what’s the best way to access and appreciate her wider discography? She cut her first single in 1959 and started recording solo albums in 1967 – there were also another 13 LPs of duets with Porter Wagoner. So what’s it to be? Debut Hello, I’m Dolly? 1971’s Coat Of Many Colors? How about the Trio album, made with Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris in 1987, or 1998’s back to the roots Hungry Again?

Please tell us your choices and reasoning via Facebook or Twitter and the best suggestions will appear in the next MOJO. Thanks all!
