As part of our month-long celebration of all things Macca, we’ve asked a few fellow songwriters to pick their favourite post-Beatles McCartney track. You Tell Me
(On: Memory Almost Full, 2007)

“This song is as perfect as a song can be. One of Paul’s greatest lyrics, too. The melody and his vocal delivery are just beautiful. This song is up there amongst his greatest work for me. I wish he’d play it live, ’cos he’d kill it and, whether people know or don’t know this track, all would be overcome but its beauty. For me, the song says ‘Where were those golden times of our lives? Were they even real? Where did they go?’ Genius.”
