Jason P. Woodbury is a writer, podcaster, and musician in the Sonoran Desert. He edits the Los Angeles online magazine Aquarium Drunkard, where he also hosts the lauded Transmissions podcast, which has featured guests like Jim Jarmusch, Bill Frisell, Margo Price, Angel Bat Dawid, Mac Demarco, Michael Shannon, and many more. He oversees the WASTOIDS audio/video network. His writing has been published by Pitchfork, Stereogum, Comic Book Resources, and Relix, and he's an in-demand liner notes author. When not writing or talking about music, he unwinds by playing it himself in the desert rock band JPW.
